Piano Lessons

One can take piano lessons for various reasons. For example, to prepare for a RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) exam or for recreational purposes.

RCM piano exam Level 8 and RCM Theory Level 8 exam are recognized in High school for credits.

For recreational purposes, I see a lot of people coming after school or work to learn how to play their favourite song ("Twinkle Twinkle"), music from a movie ("Star Wars") or some jazz music ("The Girl from Ipanema").

In my 20 years of teaching experience in Calgary, I thaught a lot of kids with ADHD, who do not have problems to concentrate and play music. As a matter of fact, they are very talented in music. I had a student with hearing problems, who was able to enjoy the music and to present it on a recital.

I worked as a music specialist in the school system. I taught music in Third Academy school for kids with mental and behavioural problems. There, I prepared Grade 1- 6 students, who were not able to read, to sing at a Christmas Concert.

30 min lesson: $32

45 min lesson: $48

60 min lesson: $64
